Strongman Required is a premium, streamlined introductory platform that connects households and businesses with reliable, capable, and vetted members for physically demanding or practical tasks. Whether you need help moving heavy furniture, clearing a garden, or handling manual labor, we find the muscle and the grit you need.
How does Strongman Required work?
We operate as a pure introductory marketplace:
- Post a Job: Describe your physical task, location, and requirements.
- Connect: Browse profiles or receive applications from vetted members.
- Hire & Pay Directly: You choose your member and pay them directly. We do not take any commission on the member’s earnings or your payment.
How much does it cost to post a job?
To maintain the highest quality of service and eliminate spam, Job Posters pay a symbolic £1 processing fee to publish a listing. This micro-fee ensures that our network only receives genuine, high-intent job offers, protecting our member’s valuable time.
Why do you charge a Membership Fee instead of a commission?
Traditional gig-economy platforms take up to 20% to 30% of what a members earns, inflating prices for you and lowering wages for them. By charging a transparent, fixed entry fee for posters and a low membership for members, we keep our platform secure and entirely unbiased. Members keep 100% of their sweat equity, and Job Posters get direct, un-marked-up market rates.
How much does a full membership cost ?

Does Strongman Required handle payments between users?
No. Strongman Required is strictly a matching platform. All financial transactions, cash handovers, or bank transfers for the work performed happen directly between the Job Poster and the Members. We never touch the job payment, meaning zero hidden platform escrow fees for you.
What happens if a dispute arises regarding the quality of work or payment?
Because Strongman Required is not a party to the contract between you and the member, we do not arbitrate financial or operational disputes. We provide community guidelines, user ratings, and verification badges to help you make informed decisions. However, any dispute regarding the task itself must be resolved directly between the Job Poster and the Members.
Are the members insured?
Strongman Required requires all members to declare they hold valid public liability insurance where applicable. However, as an introductory service, we do not provide automated insurance coverage for tasks. We strongly advise Job Posters to verify the member’s insurance status for complex or high-risk manual tasks before work begins.
